Something's fishy there. I think she's like the finger-in-the-chili woman at Wendy's.
How the heck do you buy a new DVD player and not notice that there's already a DVD in it? Why would she press play if she hadn't loaded the Disney disc in first? I have an APEX and I tried -- unplugged it with a DVD in and then plugged it back in and hooked it up to the TV. It doesn't just start to play if there's a DVD in there, even if the power was already on.
Furthermore, don't most DVD's start with a menu first? You have to select "Play movie" in order to get it going.

Yeah, I agree fishy fishy fishy. It would not just start to play without bringing up a menu. I know all the DVDs I have have a menu, not sure about stuff but it would seem that it to would be the same. Also the whole starting without pushing play. I agree with all the comments you made duckie. I would like to hear the outcome of this investigation.
