Who Is Planning A Neat Vacation This Season

#1 Postby Janice » Thu Mar 30, 2006 5:40 pm

I know Southerngale already has a great vacation to look forward to. I do not think we will go anywhere this year cause we want to list our house at the end of this year. If things go good and we get stuff done early, we may take a cruise the first part of December.

*leans back in chair with feet propped up* Awwww, it's so nice to live where I can go right out past my back yard and be on vacation. :)

I'd like to visit Mississippi though, instead of just driving through it like I always do.

Going to Philadelphia next weekend and Washington DC the weekend after that. Should be fun to visit real cities for a change!

I try to do a big vacation trip at least once every year.

This May we're going to Alaska. We're flying to Anchorage on frequent flyer tickets. I'm renting a car, and over the course of a week we're going to go to Denali national Park, Fairbanks, Valdez, and Seward before returning to Anchorage to fly home.

I loved Washington, DC. There is so much to see and all the old documents, etc. are wonderful. You will have a great time.

I went to Destin, Florida last summer. And I still owe $1200 on my credit card bill from that. So, it will be quite awhile before I can pay it off. I won't be doing anything big this summer. I am planning going to Galveston, Texas with my cousin, her husband and their 3 kids. Noah (7), Isabella (3 and half) and Natalie (2). It is only a 5 hour drive from my house and my cousin's dad's family is from there. We will probably just leave very early Friday morning and come back sometime on Monday. Just a quick trip. It is not written in stone that we are going. It depends on our finances by then and if nothing comes up. We plan on going to Schlitterbauns waterpark and the beach while there. If we go, it won't be until the last weekend in July or sometime in August.

Wow, you are really having a great traveling season. You will love the Bahamas. We spent a week in NYC, loved it. Saw some theatre and shopped. Enjoy

I guess you can call it a working vacation that I will be on in part of May and June to Biloxi, MS. Then, for part of June and July, I'll be in the Philippines relaxing.
