Who Has An Exciting Weekend Planned

#1 Postby Janice » Thu Mar 30, 2006 6:44 pm

I am not doing anything this weekend but work on the house. The weather is beautiful and I may jump in the pool to cool off in the evening. We don't have too many exciting weekends with this house..... but soon next year, watch out :D

Nope not this weekend, maybe a trip to SeaWorld. Last weekend was pretty exciting though we went camping and had a blast. :D

Going backpacking, first time in about 4 years. So looking forward to it. Heading up into the Shenandoah Mountains.

Wow that sounds like fun. Make sure you carry a two way radio or cell or something. Remember all those people who get lost in mountains? Don't forget bears too.

We're meeting two other couples the we know who live in VA. So no problem getting lost and have never seen a bear in my 12 years of active backpacking. :ggreen:

I'll probably come in to work tomorrow morning. I don't have anything else planned. I'll probably work in the yard and then relax.

It's supposed to be warm with chances of rain. I'll go home tonight and get the inside of my house all neat and tidy then work out in the yard and gardens tomorrow in between showers. I can't wait!!!!! I think I'm feeling a bit queazy and ill and may have to leave work early. lol

It's been raining all day here sadly. :( No rain tomorrow, another chance late Sunday into Monday. So, with that in mind, I really have no plans.

Hmm, usually I wouldn't have much to contribute on a question like this. But this is 35th Annual BVI Spring Regatta. http://www.bvispringregatta.org

Once again I'm working on one of the race committee boats. This year it's one-design (IC 24-s), Lasers, and Beach Cats. We did 4 races for each of the 3 classes today. It was busy. Here's a pic I took of the IC-24's leaving the start line. 2 more days to go! :D

Watching the river flood and checking my basement for seepage - our flood stage is 12 feet and we are at 17.5 right now - the record is 19 feet
