How did you find out about storm2k?

I found out about this great site through a link from NEXRAD, from another forum. What about you?

During Hurricane Katrina, we know people who live in Slidell, and I was asking about resources for updated information on the Canadian-Weather.ca forums, and they reccommended me here.

Skywatch_NC/Eric invited me to join Storm2K. I had been reading about S2K on the Weather Channel message boards and they were going severely downhill. I joined here and never looked back (but I was banned from TWC, many of us were).

Yes, that sounds like me miss mary. In 2005, the twc boards were falling apart and everyone were finding new boards, and our best poster recomeneded this site, and I have been hooked since.

During 2005 I was searching on google for Dr.Grays forecast for the 2005 hurricane season. When I clicked search it took me to a link with Storm2k on it saying"Countdown to 2005 Season". I clicked on it and I got fascinated with this site. And once I became a teen I joined.

Someone mentioned it in a wunderground blog so I came over here to check it out. Funny, I spend more time here now than overthere.
