Do you have a boyfriend/girlfriend/spouse?

#1 Postby JTD » Sun Apr 23, 2006 9:44 pm

How many of you have a boyfriend/girlfriend/spouse/partner?

I met someone on a phone chat line last night. It's amazing. All I could possibly have wanted.

Not at the moment. I am currently single. All I seem to attract is jerks and married men. I am very leery these days after getting hurt time and time again. My last actual boyfriend cheated on me left and right. And the last few guys that I dated either only wanted one thing or they lied to me and found out they were a married man. I have no problem meeting guys when I go places. But, just meeting a decent single guy has been the problem. I turn 30 in almost exactly 2 more months. And I found it has been getting harder and harder. But, I quit looking. If it happens, it happens. But, I am not going out actually to look for a guy. Because from the ages of 18-25, I was hardly ever not dating someone or having a boyfriend.

If I was single and wanted to meet a guy, I would go work for the Democrat or Republican party of your choice. During the election years, they need tons of people to work for candidates and I think you would find a pretty good crop of people there to meet. I worked to parties in Iowa and we had a blast working at headquarters, etc.

Also, if you are involved in a church, there should be nice people there.

How about volunteering one night a week at a hospital. I am sure there are tons of single people working there.
