A local resturant named the "Hilltop".......a "tourist trap" with LOUSY food and the service is even WORSE, it's NAME. OH WAIT.....another local rest. "Charlie Clarks".......a OVERRATED, OVERPRICED steakhouse, "A Pinetop tradition since 1932"......average meal price, $50 per PERSON, a 8 oz stk, baked potato, salad and a drink! :x

I'm not sure if I'd use the word hate but I recently could not get thru a meal at the Italian restaurant named Carrabba's. I had severe heartburn rise up before I could even get into my entree - broiled scallops. It just kept getting worse and worse. To the point where I just had to stop eating. The waitress gave me a funny look when I asked for a doggy bag for almost my entire meal!

Later someone told me they use fresh garlic in each item. The dipping oil mixture for the bread, the salads and salad dressing, the potato dishes, the vegetables, the marinara sauce, the entrees, etc.

I don't even want to see if it's in their desserts.....it's not of course.

When I drive by that restaurant, I cringe. Way, way too much garlic. Felt like I was protecting myself against a vampire!

Why would anyone hate Church's Chicken???

Seriously, after YEARS of Kentucky Fried Crap, I'll take Church's anyday.

Carraba's -- their ads are bad enough. I'll pass on the food. :)

Stooge -- I used to deliver PJ's pizza part-time (in between ER shifts). That little comment they make in the ads about not using reconstituted sauce? Untrue!! LOL! They toss 3 cans of sauce in a big 5 gallon bucket, then add one canful of water, and then mix in a packet of oregano and other spices. Sounds reconstituted to me! :) I like Pizza Hut -- I found a better pizza.

Restaurant I despise - Hardee's. Never have liked them. Jack In The Box comes in a close second, followed by Dairy Queen's hot eats. Love their cool treats though.

Longhorn Steakhouse is one of the top ones on my list. For some reason, I find the western style and animal heads they have grotesque. I can barely eat there without coming close to vomiting... I am NEVER scared of real stuffed animals or heads in museums or live animals, but this feels too much for some reason. Consequently, I have never eaten there since, and I have absolutely NO plans of doing so!

Anyone else been there? Anyone else agree?

By the way, Outback Steakhouse rocks!

Wow, Duckie. Hardees is the bomb here. We drive 15 minutes to eat breakfast there some Saturdays. Food is always fresh and tastes good, soooo much better than other fast food breakfasts. Their biscuits and gravy rocks! :cheesy:
I can't really think of many restaurants that I hate. One I would have to say is The Ale House. The service is so-so, but the food seems to always suck. I have told my husband over and over I am never going back there, and then gave in a month or so ago, after years of not going, and nothing has changed..... still sux.

CDB Pizza ( tried it twice and both times got very very sick).
Carrrabas was very disappointing. The food wasn't very good and the portions were small to boot which I guess was a good thing.
Just went to Outback for the first time and wasn't impressed by the food. Kind of disappointing after I heard so many people brag about them.

Personally, I was NOT bragging about Outback's food. It is just my personal opinion. In my opinion, quite a bit of the food was pretty good, at least what I tasted.

Well I love them. Been going for years, but the only thing I get there is Prime rib, and its always cooked to perfection. Also all the appitizers I have had there are good as well. :D Service is always great.

If there is ever a way to package and use "methane" gas as an alternative fuel source, this would be place to eat 8-)
