How many hours (in a 24 hour day) do you spend on Storm2k. That includes the chatroom?

This is not how many hours you use your computer or the internet, but just Storm2k and chatroom.

I do not sign off a lot, so I am usually on the list all the time. Sometimes I do when I go to bed, so it looks like I am here more than I am. I would guess I am at this site about 3-5 hours. I come for about 15 minutes then leave and do stuff for a couple hours and back again, etc. During cane season, I will spend more hours here.

on average I would say between 2-4 hour total during the day. In the morning I have to wake up and check all the threads so that I have no blinky orange things telling me there is a new post.

I never count how much. But, I don't have my own computer. So, when my dad is home from offshore, I can't get on much. Because he is on almost all the time. As soon as I pay off my car note, loan note, and credit card bill (which will only be about 6 more months), I will start saving up for a lab top. I have been working 6 days out of the week lately which I am not complaining since I need the money despartly. But, when I am home, I am stuck on this website. And when cane season is here and something is brewing, I can hardly leave this site to even go to the bathroom. LOL. It is so addicting!

Well, sounds like your bills should be paid off by Christmas. A laptop will be a well deserved Christmas present for you. Good luck.

Way, way too much time here, at least thats what hubby says. I would venture to say 2-4 hours depending. At least 1 but usually around 2 and if its a slow day around the house or I feel lazy it could be about 4.

For me it's not so much a consistent amount of time at any given time of the day, as I tend to keep my mail open, and when something comes in telling me that a thread I've been interested in/participated in, gets a reply, I usually click it and see if it's something I'll respond to--usually is..LOL. But if you took the helter skelter times and "defragged" them, it would probably accumulate to a healthy 2 hours... becoming an addict!

I check in probably once every hour as long when I'm up. Sometimes more, sometimes I only spend a few minutes, sometimes I spend longer, just depends on what's going on that day.

The chat I'm in about 4 hours a night usually.

Well its hard to say in my case. Could be anywhere from an hour or less a day to 4 hours a day..typically in chat. Since its getting to be that time of the year again in on the forum more waiting for the inevitable "bear watches" and "season cancel" threads.

Well, George, the chatroom is going to be the place to be. The big annual party is on the 3lst and we hope to fill all the seats. It will be a great evening. We expect over 100 in the room for a great party.

Well...since I have access to the internet both at home and work, S2k is one of my stops in the morning and again at night. When the tropical season cranks up, I visit more....or when I really need to find a particular answer or response to a weather question.

I'd say 30 minutes a day would be about average for me.

I post MUCH less than I used to, and start new posts even less frequently.

It's not a bad thing, but S2k is more like a city than a small town these days, and I often feel like I'd need to spend more time here than I do to really be a good neighbor any more.

Nah, Steve, you don't have to feel that way. As in any city, we all carve out our own little niche, and keep in touch with those closest to us. We always look forward to your posts, Steve. You're experience and wisdom never fail to enlighten, encourage, or uplift us, just where we need it!

Oh my... how much time? Well, I read a lot of threads (more than I post to believe it or not)... and I am in and out a lot. Who knows the exact amount, but quite a bit. :)

Probably less than 3 hours a night. Usually after 730pm, or during severe weather.
