Urgent prayer request

#1 Postby JetMaxx » Wed Jul 09, 2003 10:07 pm

I have an urgent prayer request...
My 2nd cousin William was diagnosed with malignant melanoma several weeks ago, and unfortunately it had already spread....he's in the hospital tonight in Knoxville, Tennessee. The cancer has spread to his lungs and gall bladder.

William is only 32 years old....and has a young wife and 8 year old twin (Jessi and Tori). The doctors are trying chemo, but have already told my family the prognosis is grave...the cancer has spread so quickly.

I really appreciate all of your prayers on William's behalf. I feel so badly for those two precious little girls....because I know what they face in the coming years if God doesn't heal their daddy.

Thanks in advance and God bless you!

William and his family are already being placed before His Altar as I type, Perry....it is good to know that you will "be there" for them, as I would if the opportunity presented itself. :larrow:

Perry,
My best to William and his family. As well as yourself. I will pray a little extra in this situation.

Perry.......my dear Brother, have "FAITH!" For it is by *faith* that he will be healed, believe in the healing power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, pray never ceasing, asking for divine intervention, BELIEVE Perry, BELIEVE! Ask and it shall be done!

It is hard to not ask "why" in such a situation? But ours is not to question, but to seek understanding and peace. There are many examples of medical wonders...I have a wonderful friend about that age who was written off to cancer back in 1995. His two kids are now about 8 and 9. He is a living example of hope and prayer and treatment that can work.

I want to thank each of you so much. In times like these when everything seems so bleak, knowing others care and are offering prayers on my family member's behalf and on my behalf really helps.

God Bless You! :)

Oh Perry - that is the saddest news. Of course, being a cancer survivor myself, I'll definitely pray. Please keep us updated. Thoughts and prayers going out to William's family, you and your own family.
