Where Oh Where Is BinLadin

#1 Postby Janice » Sat Jun 03, 2006 8:19 pm

Where do you suppose this fellow is hiding?

Wouldn't it be something if he crossed the Mexican border and is right here in the US?

He drew a picture of a mushroom cloud over NYC with his face in the pic near the cloud on the net. And the story along with the pic he promised to be a martyr.

Strange, I have always thought of OBL when I hear the song "it wasnt me" since 9-11. How does this fit cause someone has made this graphic!

In reality, he might be dead. But they won't announce it anyways, even if he is dead... like they wouldn't wanna burst their own bubble.

Do we know how old he is?

Bin Laden is indeed 49, which works in our favor actually.

He suffers from diabetes, which has led to cardiovascular problems in the past. A reporter who interviewed him in 1991 said that he had to rest for hours at the time. It has also been reported that he requires dialysis, which the CIA has determined to be untrue.

However, it has been speculated that he has Marfan Syndrome. When you couple diabetes from which he has had complications as far back as 15 years ago with Marfan Syndrome he should be a walking timebomb. It is unlikely he will be alive in 5 years, and a betting man would probably take a bet that he's already dead.

However, I think he's still alive and if he is, it's almost certain he's in Pakistan. Pakistan has hampered our attempts to search for him there. They don't like our military having its way with their land and have prevented us from searching in some places and prevented us from being able to act quickly on intelligence. Unfortunately, they are a sovereign republic, just like us (the U.S. isn't a democracy no matter how many times politicians say it) and all we can do is bargain with them. I've thought from the beginning of the war that we just need to sit down and negotiate with Pakistan and use the words "billon dollars" frequently. After all, what good is being number one if you don't use the power?

Surely them not wanting the US Military to "have it's way with their land" is understandable? If the Spanish thought a member of ETA was in the US, would you want the Spanish military cruising around? That said I don't think you can blame this in Pakistan I think it basically comes down to Ossie knowing the region and being too clever for the military to find him.

I think he is either still in that region of has made an escape to another region that is safe for him either in Africa or back in the Middle East.

Guess I worded it wrong...I should have said "Five years older than he should have lived to be."

You got that right, George. He could even be in a fancy clinic somewhere in Russia or some other country that would take him in. Experts should constantly monitor pharmacies, etc. for diabetic drugs and trace all prescriptions. I am sure some illegal is getting his drugs for him. Maybe he is in Mexico and staying close to us.

I doubt he is in Mexico..or anywhere else on this continent. It would be too easy for him to get caught there and if he was I think hed be brought to the US with or without the consent of the Mexican government.

It's certainly understandable and Pakistan is right to take the position that it's taking. It has enough trouble with India to have to worry about the US. The point I was making is that the US is in a position to use its power and money as a bargaining chip. In your example above, Spain is in no position to bargain that way with the US.

I read that he is on dialysis because of the diabetes or marfan not sure which. He must have some great supply lines and a super physician to keep him alive if that's true.
