How Long Will This Last

#1 Postby Janice » Mon Jun 05, 2006 7:21 am

The world population is growing at an amazing pace. The worlds natural resourses are also dwindling.

How long before we see that we can no longer feed the world and have anything left to work with.

Do you think we will see that day?

One must differentiate between different countries. For instance, China has greatly reduced their birth rate, although they did it in typical communist fashion.

Other countries like India, are making progress, and are relatively progressive in their polices and programs.

Other countries are just a mess.

I think that overall global birth rates have declined. Not enough though.

The thing about malnourishemnt is that more people that are weakened by it, and end up dying of other causes, so the true cost of malnourishment is not counted.
