For The Guys Only

#1 Postby Janice » Mon Jun 05, 2006 8:23 am

Ok, guys, fess up.

When you are hitting the scene to meet a girl, what are some turn-offs.

When you sit down for the first time to chat, is there one particular thing that a girl says that will turn you off immediately?

Hi..... where do you work and how much money do you make?

Well, not that I'm in that scene any more, but.

"How much money do you make" would be VERY inappropriate. I wouldn't answer that. I'd reply, "why do you ask?" My guard would be up after that.

Other turn offs

1. Talks incessently about nothing.
2. Talks about herself the whole time.
3. Talks about her friends too much.
4. Talks about superficial things.
5. Uses the word "I" in every sentence.

As you can see, talking too much is the #1 way to turn me off. Every second doesn't have to be filled with talking.

As far as saying things, it would basically be anything annoying, which is a wide array of things. The biggest turn off period, would be lighting up a cigarette.

:18:

Luckily, there's no "scene" for me anymore. :D

Ditto. I could handle a glass of wine, but drinking like a bottomless pit would be a huge turn off.

<<<Janices' last 1 sounds eerily familiar lol...

Hmm.. lets see.. biggest turn off.. I'm a big appearance person, and 1 of my biggest turn offs is if a girl dresses like a well.. not dignifed human being lol {inesert derogatory word here lol}..

I just hate that.. I'd rather see someone who cares about their appearance.. if that makes any sense

Another big turnoff (and yes, this happens in Jr. High/Middle and High Schools) is when a stupid question like "Are you gay?" is asked.
