Health Crisis - Updated 6-23 7:00pm
Hello everyone. I am coming to you from Cincinnati's Children's Hospital. This next part is going to shock a good percentage of you but it explains where I am. On Thursday evening, I began to suffer extreme pain in my bladder/stomach area. By Friday, I was hurting so badly, I wound up in the hospital. According to my doctors, what I believed to be a stomach virus was really a ruptured bladder which, if not treated, would have killed me. I am recovering but slowly. It's not known when I will get out at this point, or where we go from here. All I can do is ask for prayers

Wow, that is horrible news. I hope they can treat you and you will not be affected by any serious side affects. Keep us posted. You were so lucky you got into the hospital for this. Do the doctors give you any idea what may lay ahead of you, as far as treatments, etc.? You have my prayers.... keep us updated.

Very little is known wrt recovery time. They are trying to restart my bowels now and then they think they will be leaving at least one tube intact for the bladder.Janice wrote:Wow, that is horrible news. Sorry to hear this Jeremy! Please do keep us posted when you can. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Do you have an address where we can reach you for cards or such?

Glad to hear you're in one of the best hospitals.
I spent most of my childhood/adolescence at CHMC. Great place to be (if you have to be in the hospital).
Feel better soon, heal fast!
