No, I'm still in Canada, but I've finally settled down enough to spend a some times on forums now. Full summary when I return to the U.S.

I did not know my parents would bring a computer but thank goodness they did. So, been busy the past week, and today finally have time to log on with their computer.

Bad news. I've been denied access back to the U.S. So now I'm sorta screwed, and there's a chance I may not ever be able to return again. (note the location in my profile) I'll try to check in once in a while and keep you guys updated.

What the heck...that doesn't make any sense. Well, here's wishing you and your parents the best on getting back home, Jim.

You and your parents definitely don't look like terrorists to me if that's what has the Canadian border patrol up in arms about. Sheesh...!

It's not the Canadian border patrol. They were friendly and actually smiled. It was the US border patrol. They never smiled, they said some real mean words, and really, we were treated as criminals. I really felt like they believed we were guilty and we had to be proved innocent. Anyway over a third of the motorists trying to come in were tagged down. I truly believe they were trained as if every motorist was a terrorist, and acted upon that belief, until each and every one was proved innocent.

We do not have any record of criminal activity. We were just missing a visa, it was too old since my family has not traveled outside the US since we came to the US in 1993. Lawyers, friends, and relatives all said it was okay. The border patrol rebutted with "lawyers are liers. we make the rules, not them. never listen to what they say" something like that.

I'm asking for prayers. I really want to return home.

So VERY sorry, Jim, to hear of your predicament dilemma.

Yes, if it wasn't for that arse Bin Butt and his being behind 9/11...! :grrr:

******

Prayers and thoughts with you and your family from everywxone in the S2K family and that things can get resolved with the US Border Patrol!

How can they deny a U.S. citizen, who pays for their paychecks through taxes, access back into the U.S.? That doesnt make any sense...Certainly in my prayers...
