Neighbors, AUUGGGGH!

#1 Postby azsnowman » Fri Jul 21, 2006 7:37 pm

I swear to God, I have to have the MOST stupid, idiotic, uncaring, selfish neighbors on the PLANET :grr: Ok.....here's the story, they're new (kinda, 2 years), they moved here from Phoenix, city folks BIG TIME, never had fruit trees, never had a lawn, etc etc. WELL.....this lady is a ceritified FRUIT CAKE......

We have elk that frequent our yards, yes, they are now coming in our yards and eating ANYTHING that isn't tied down, WELL......she has 3 apple trees and for the first time in 12 years, EVERYONE has apples, peaches, cherrys etc........the elk LOVE apples and have been eating HER trees to the GROUND   leaves, apples and limbs!! She has put a security light in the trees to try to keep them away but last night took the CAKE.......she has a BEAUTIFUL Golden Retreiver named Shilo, she kept the POOR DOG tied TO THE TREE ALL night without FOOD, WATER or SHELTER trying to protect her tree :grr: needless to say, when I got to the PD today, I contacted our animal control officer and he gave her a CITATION for ANIMAL CRUELTY 8-) 8-) 8-)

This sicko is obsessed with her fruit trees, I've NEVER seen anyone like her, she's SICK......I'll post a picture here in a second of what she DID this spring when the trees where in blossom, you will NOT believe it!

Anyone else have a obsessive, compulsive neighbor like mine?

Good going AZ. Noone should be cruel to animals for the stupid sake especially of her dumb apple trees.
But wow, an elk! Wow!
I'd kinda like to have a pet elk.

Luckily, I don't have any fruity neighbros like that.

I know........if I could, I'd take HER and tie HER to the trees, but what REALLY gets me, her husband puts UP with her.......he is such a wuss, I'm sorry, I shouldn't judge people like that but if you could ONLY see the way these people are

NOW....here's a photo of her trees this spring, she spent $200 EACH for these insulated tarps and ONLY used them ONE NIGHT  too much work I guess!

I don't care about her trees - I care about that poor dog!!!! Good for you Dennis! BTW, our Golden is a real wimp. Sweet but definitely not courageous. She would have been shaking, tied to that tree!

Some people.....just have no sense!

Tell her to get a ladder so once a week they can pick the fruit from the top of the tree and let Gods creatures have the bottom fruit. She cannot possibly eat all the fruit from these trees.

I have fruit trees and had a bad crop this year. Because of the drought, the birds have been famished so they took out almost all of my fruit but I still tried to feed them seed as well. AZ, hey a city person and probably a flatlander to boot-what do you expect?

Dennis, I would sneak over and pick some of the apples. I would then get me a big basket and set them on my front porch so they can rot right in front of her. THEN I would dispose of them at her front door, minus the basket, of course. :cheesy: OR I would feed the apple slices to the birds (good idea Steve) or better yet, THE ELK! LOL!!

Good work there, Dennis. This doggie doesn't need to suffer because of this
lady's ignorance. It might be suggested to her that her fruit trees MIGHT not
be abundant, this year, and, maybe another year, they might flourish?

Jeez....you gotta live with nature, sometimes....

Anyone else have a obsessive, compulsive neighbor like mine?

No, thank goodness.

Although, here's my unbelieveable story from 4 years ago at a last apartment complex me and my family once lived at:

A neighbor of ours was throwing wild parties late at night. My mom called the police on our rowdy neighbor and after the police came up to the scene of the incident, come to find out that it was an assistant manager of the apartment complex (Now called the "projects"). She got all ticked off and wanted us evicted, because we caught her for "disturbing the peace".

What manager? He was relocated to another apartment complex in South Dallas.

The sad thing is, before that fiasco started the previous manager (who was in business for decades) was said to have embezzeled over $36,000 from the company.

Bernie has a nice rack!

Just another case of city folk moving to the wilds and wanting to "tame" them to be just like the city.
