JERUSALEM - The condition of former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, who has been in a coma since suffering a stroke in January, has deteriorated though there was no immediate danger to his life, hospital officials and former aides said Sunday.

He's been in a coma for 6 1/2 months now... doctors haven't expected him to come out of it, and he most certainly won't now in all likelihood, but I don't think he's suffering either. I'm pretty sure he doesn't know a thing about what's going on right now, and if he were to wake up, would probably have no memory of anything that happened before the stroke. I feel sorry for his family though.

Ya know, this is EXACTLY why I dislike modern medicine......WHY are they keeping him alive? I don't mean to sound crude, uncaring etc. but dang it, it's time to let nature and God take control. Doctors are playing God here.......I'm sure he is suffering, not physically but mentally, I know I'd want to be let go if there's no hope and it's obvious, he HAS no hope of surviv
