Since apprently there was a whole page about when school starts in certain areas I decided to make a Topic about it in the Off Topic Forum. Here is where you guys can just post when school starts for your area and so on an so on.

My school year starts July 31.

School starts here in Polk County on Aug. 7 for all the elementary schools, middle schools and high schools.

Irving Independent School District starts Aug. 23 while all Dallas County colleges start on Aug. 28.

You guys are kidding! Around here, it's always the end of August. Maybe a week before Labor Day, but never any earlier. Then it goes until the first week of June.

Our local public school district begins Wednesday, August 23. Teachers and staff report August 22 (that's me since I work in the cafeteria now).

August?????? Ouch! Parochial school starts 1st Wed after labor day in Phila, I believe Public starts the week after.

My school District made our school year start July 31. :grr: I know I already posted it, but its really insane how we have to start school earlier and earlier.

my school district (Mounds View) goes back to school the day after Labor Day and we get out the first week in June.
