News stories you obsess{ed} over

Has there ever been a story in the news that has happened, whether it be that has directly affected you, or 1 that just seemed so interesting or whatever.

I have a handful. Some are obvious.

1998 tornado outbreak, 9/11, Our 3 hurricanes, the Columbia disaster, hurricane Katrina, and the sudden break in the Ramsey murder case.

These stories are just 1's that have left me asking ?'s, craving more information and have just so interested me.

Of course.. this also could be because I'm attempting to eventually go back 2 school to finish my Journalism major.

Pretty much any major news event since 9/11(which started my news obsession). The War in Afghanistan, the War in Iraq, the 2004 Presidential Election, the Columbia disaster, any of the terror attacks since, and anything in between... and of course any tropical system. I don't obsess over it everyday as much now, but when something big happens, I do. After 9/11 through about the summer of 2003 I didn't watch anything besides the news all the time.

The case of the missing 3 yr-old boy who has autism. Walked away from his foster mother Tues. afternoon at a Cincy park when she had a seizure.

9/11, airline news, and mainly anything weather

Any tropical cyclones worldwide. Hurricane Katrina was the largest. Every minute and every second of that event I tryed to save. I knew a storm like that was almost once in a lifetime event.

Some other non-weather news stories I obsess over is events like 9/11, London bombings of 2005, ect.

9/11 was the biggest one for me, and since then I'vemade it a point not to obsess over the news. Life's too short to get so wound up in bad stuff.
