CNN.com to replay 9/11 attacks coverage
My daughter told me about this and I had hoped it would air on CNN, via cable or satellite. I see it's on the Internet only. I will watch what I can, before heading off to work. I had hoped to record it, if it was on TV. Does anyone know if this is the first time CNN is reairing actual footage, as events unfolded on 9/11? Just curious. I also just wanted to mention this to anyone who might be interested iin watching. No matter what I will cry tomorrow, with or without seeing footage of that tragic day.

CNN.com to Replay 9/11 Attacks Coverage
Aug 25 2:12 PM US/Eastern
CNN will mark the fifth anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks by replaying on the Internet the cable network's coverage of that day's events.
Viewers can watch how events unfolded starting at 8:30 a.m., minutes before the first reports of an airplane hitting the World Trade Center. The feed will run in real time, as the network showed it five years ago, until midnight.
For the day, CNN will make its online video service, CNN Pipeline, available for free. Normally, viewers pay $2.95 a month or $24.95 a year for four separate video feeds.
Online viewers will be able to watch live reports of memorial services through one of the feeds. So that viewers won't accidentally stumble upon graphic footage from 2001, the replay feed will be covered with a notice instructing users to click only if they want to watch.
"Our users may choose to view the stream of coverage from Sept. 11, or live coverage of memorial services at Ground Zero, or they may click through the numerous interactive elements on the site," said David Payne, senior vice president and general manager of CNN.com. "They have the power to determine the best way for them to remember the anniversary."

MSNBC is re-airing the Today Show from 9/11. They are promoting it as "in real-time" so I'm guessing the times will match up. I don't know how long they will air it, but they are also starting at 8:30am ET. I am going to be recording that and running Pipeline on the computer. I am pretty sure it's the first time CNN has done something to this extent. CNN/ABC/CBS's coverage for the first couple of hours is on YouTube now, it was posted recently.
CNN's initial coverage: http://youtube.com/watch?v=9cUEcgQiEWk
ABC: http://youtube.com/watch?v=vx0P8JHHh6k
CBS: http://youtube.com/watch?v=PLf0oLf5zk0
A FOX affiliate in NY(I think): http://youtube.com/watch?v=EWYg12zO31g
All start from the initial cut-in.
You can find the other parts there as well.

Thanks Brent. Perhaps I should edit the title of this thread? If MSNBC is reairing footage, other networks might be as well?
*Edit*
FOX is as well:

I think I'll leave the title as is, unless it makes sense to change it. I'd have to edit my original post too.

I'll be able to catch a bit of MSNBC. Otherwise I'll be at school.
I guess I could record. Hmm..
I've always wanted to see the footage just like it aired. I was at school when the attacks began, and the only bits I got to see live were a few minutes after the towers fell, because they let us watch a bit of it during break.. and that was all I got to see live until at 3 PM.

FNC is doing a stream too. It's in real-time so nothing has happened yet.

From what I can tell, CNN's reairing can be viewed anytime today. I wish I didn't have to go to work, I'd like to honor all those that lost loved ones that day by watching 9/11 coverage. But I'll do the next best thing, offer prayers, hope and wear my now tarnished flag pin my daughter made me in school, out of safety pins and red, white and blue tiny beads. My US flag is already flying.
I thought for certain we'd receive MSNBC free today, but it's blocked out (not available on the Satellite tier we have).
I have caught some of the coverage this morning. A very sad and somber day. We must never forget.
