UFO's sighted over Waterloo?
Okay, this is all entirely true. I swear on my mothers grave it is.
About a month ago, I was walking home at about 11pm. I was moving across the parking lot to the Waterloo Inn, when I looked towards downtown Kitchener. I noticed a bright light in the sky, and it was in one spot. Suddenly it moved to the right, then to the left, then back to the right in a straight line. It stopped, blinked a couple times then disappeared. It really freaked me out, I could hardly sleep that night.
Well, when I got home about 45 minutes ago I got a huge surprise.
My parents told me that they saw a UFO. They were in the hot tub on the back deck when my mom looked up for whatever reason, and she saw 3 objects in a perfect triangle above the house, just coming out from behind the eeves. They were slow moving and they remained a perfect looking circle until they vanished. My parents watched it move aross the sky, they said they were really high up, but were a tan looking colour. There was planes flying overhead throughout the evening, but this wasn't a plane they said. They had no lights, you can usually see the lights on planes when it's starting to get dark out, but these didn't have any. Plus, the air traffic moves from west to east, or east to west. These objects were moving from northeast to southwest. They lasted a couple of minutes, and when my parents got out of the hot tub they called the radio station. We don't know yet if any other people sighted the objects, but we are going to catch the 10pm news. Also, we're staying up until 11pm to watch CKCO news on TV(our city news station).
When they told me what happened, I got so freaked my eyes watered. I'm actually pretty freaked out still, I went outside about 10 minutes ago and looked up, but came back in quickly.
I don't know if anyone actually believes this, but it's true. I can't think of any military aircraft that fly like that.
BTW, they looked miles and miles apart, one in front and two behind. Moving in a perfect looking triangle the entire time until moving behind clouds.
Crazy.

Kitchener news is 1130pm, national is 11pm.
I know that, I think it's silly for the national to be first at 11pm and then the local Kitchener news at 11:30 pm.

I've never seen a UFO before, you IMO are lucky but I don't blame you for being terrified. I just hope there aren't any other life forms out there that are studying us.

FLYing Saucers
Dude...I gotcha with this one!!! I was on the beach in St. Augustine at about 3:00am, a few other people were around as well. I saw three bright lights just "appear" suddenly out of nowhere. They flew in perfect formation to one another and did several zig zag patterns, then got brighter and brighter.....then they each went off into different directions and vanished into thin air!
I had those tears in my eyes, AND about peed my pants, because I KNEW what I saw wasn't planes or helicopters. I ran off the beach, and noticed that everyone else was running off the beach too!!!! I feel for ya man....people think it's cool to maybe see a possible UFO.....NOT ME!!!!! Don't worry, you're not crazy!!!!
PS: artist, it wasn't one of those planes, even though I'm not far from NAS Jax, because in the end all the lights separated and went off into separate directions, and the altitude was so low there was NO noise.

One time a long time ago back in the day, I was driving home and looked up and saw 4 lights in a perfect circle. They appeared to be very far away. The more I stared at them, the further away they seemed to move and oscillate. My friend passed me one of those things I don’t do anymore, I took a hit, gave it back to him and asked him if he saw it. Sure enough, he did. We pulled over to check it out more closely, only then realizing it was a fancy street light. We continued to watch it for several more minutes in hopes it might be a spaceship and would start shooting lazer beams at us.

!!
I wasn't "passing" anything or even drinking the night I saw....well whatever the heck it was. It was just that I connected with Connesto's description of the watering eyes thing... it scared me so bad. And all the other people sitting there looking at the stars saw it too, and ran off the beach.!!!
Way back centuries ago, when I lived in Western New York, we were near Bell Aerospace engineering near Niagara Falls.... you got used to seeing "UFO's" all the time because they were building all kinds of experimental aircraft. The police didn't even bother to look into reports of weird flying things.

that sounds like an AV-8B Harrier...they are V/STOL (vertical/short take off and landing) they are cool planes...USMC uses themRegit wrote:I saw some craft once that would go from a hovering position to moving very quickly in a very short period of time. It was quite odd, but was in close proximity to an air force base, so if it were anything other than a US military aircraft, it would have been intercepted.

Actually, these were quiet and accelerated much more quickly than a Harrier can. Since it was about 4 in the morning, I couldn't tell if they were small aircraft that were fairly close, or large aircraft at a distance (which would mean they were going faster than I've ever seen anything go).
