Ghost story

#1 Postby sunny » Sat Oct 21, 2006 6:33 pm

I just told this to Linda, she is freaking out!! But some of you may remember my brother-in-laws sister that drowned in their bath tub last July. Well, my sister Kathy called me a little while ago. Our oldest sister, JoAnn, lived next door to her until last year - she got scared after the storms and moved across the lake. A young couple bought the house. Kathy was watching TV and a few minutes before she called me, the young girl Nina knocked on her door, very hysterical, and said "Ms. Kathy, what happened in that house? Did someone drown in that house?" Nina was sitting on her bed putting on her shoes when her three-year-old son points to the bathroom and tells her "mommy, that lady drowned in there". Nina asked him what lady. He points and said "that lady, she told me she drowned in there". True story

Wow........ just wow! I do believe that many children can see so much more than we can. My son at age 3 told us there was a man in his room. He even described what he was wearing and how the man pulled him out of hte way of his toybox lid right before it fell. (large wooden lid on a homemade toybox).

I think animals can too. After my mother died a long time ago our cat would walk up to her chair and meow just like she did when my mother was sitting there. Another time my dad saw her at the clothesline outside looking up..the same as she did when she followed my mother when she was hanging up laundry. When my dad passed away last year I went outside the morning after he died for some fresh air and i noticed the neighbors dogs outside for their morning romp. Only that morning was different. Instead of frolicking and playing and barking they moved slowly and silently. When they saw me they came over and sat by me on the curb and didnt make a sound. THEY KNEW. Dad used to play with these dogs daily.

WOOOOO! Reminds me of George Noory and Art Bell on late at nights when I'm lying in bed and listening to ghost stories.
It's my own fault for not being able to sleep properly.
Thank god for my night light. 8-)

That is a wild story. I do believe in ghosts and spirits that visit us.

I don't discredit any ghost story, but until I see one (which I don't want to see in any case) I will believe in them.

We've had poltergeist episodes with my family since 1982. Middle 90s it was serious and injurious to family members.

Don't believe in spooky ghosts. Brain glitches? Yes.
