Actress Jane Wyatt passes away....

Hollywood loses another icon. Jane Wyatt passed away on Friday, peacefully in her sleep, at the age of 96. I'll always fondly remember her as Margaret Anderson from the "Father Knows Best" TV show. Definitely one of several favorite TV Show mom's from the Baby Boomer generation, which would be mine.

David - join the club! I was discussing 80s teen movies with coworkers last week. One is in her 30s so I don't know what her excuse is, but we could not remember Matt Dillon's name to save our lives....LOL I kept saying, he was recently in You, Me and Dupree! That didn't help.....so today I'm going to walk into work and say two words - "Matt Dillon"!!!!

Jane Wyatt had that "mom" look back then, someone on an IMDB board thought she was on Falcon Crest! So many of them could blend into one image, if we're not careful. That would be Jane Wyman, who looked similar to Jane Wyatt.......here's Jane Wyatt's page at IMDB. What I think I'll always remember was Jane Wyatt's voice, as she was reminding her TV children to do their chores on Father Knows Best. I can hear her saying, ".....now Bud...."!

Apparently, Jane Wyatt also appeared on Star Trek as Spock's mom! I never knew that.
