Yes, I've heard of them. They played at a local summer outdoor concert here in the Cincinnati area this year. I didn't go but I heard it was a good concent. If you're into oldies.

*Edit*

Okay, so it wasn't summer, it was last month! LOL Here are a few threads about it on a local music board:

Definately heard of her!!! Big time in the 80's!! She was great!! I think she quit singing "rock" for a little while and then started singing opera, but I think she is back to good music now... She was really popular in the 80's.... well, on the east coast anyways...

I saw him dancin' there by the record machine
I knew he must a been about seventeen
The beat was goin' strong
Playin' my favorite song
An' I could tell it wouldn't be long
Till he was with me, yeah me
And I could tell it wouldn't be long
Till he was with me, yeah me, singin'

I love rock n' roll
So put another dime in the jukebox, baby
I love rock n' roll
So come an' take your time an' dance with me

So 80's. I loved that song. :uarrow:

I have! She was more of a punk rocker. The crowd was not for me either but once we started partying, they were a hoot. Glad you had a good time Chad!

BTW, I LOVE going to the House of Blues.

For those of us who grew up in the 80's, who didn't like "I Love Rock n Roll?" :)

I didn't care too much for her other music though and thought she was too scary looking (yeah, you can read into that if you want to). Last time I saw a picture of her, she was even scarier -- short spikey blonde hair, same dark eye makeup. I can only imagine what the crowd was like. But I guess a lot of entertainers can surprise you when you see them live in concert.
