#1 Postby Miss Mary » Sun Nov 26, 2006 2:53 pm

These were sold on the Internet, thru catalog orders and in the Toledo area. Not exactly nationwide but still, it's a food recall I wanted to alert S2K members about:

The Honeybaked Foods Company has issued a recall for some of its ham and turkey products because they could be contaminated with listeria.

The recalled products include six to 11 lb. packages of sliced and glazed fully cooked half ham, 12 to 16 lb. packages of whole ham, three pound packages of sliced and glazed cooked boneless turkey breast and the smoked version.

It was produced between September 5 and November 13.

They were sold through the company's catalog, on the internet nationwide and in stores in the Toledo area.

You can call 800-461-3998 for more information.

Listeria is a microorganism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in children and the elderly or miscarriages or stillbirths in pregnant women.
