Sick

#1 Postby azsnowman » Sun Dec 10, 2006 7:21 pm

This truly stinks....I'm getting a head cold from HADES :grr:

I had a severe case of the stomach flu that EVERYONE at the PD had and everyone in TOWN had and NOW everyone on patrol and in my office has a cold. I've been taking AIRBORNE, EMERGEN C, zinc and nothing has stopped it :grr:

OH WELL....I'll live, it's a long way from my heart  at least it's NOW and NOT at Christmas like I NORMALLY get sick.

Everyone I know has had a cold or something lately. All four of my pets actually had some type of stomach ailment where they wouldn't eat for a day or so.

I hope you get over it soon. I found that Zicam did help to eleviate my symptoms and PERHAPS shorten my cold as well (as it claims). I normally get a chest cough afterwards that lasts for a while. I didn't this time.

Dennis, you sure have had a rough few weeks lately. :(
Well, you've managed this far and I'm counting on your getting over this crud soon so it won't spoil your Christmas.
Maybe a shot of scotch and a nap would help? :P

I'm all for the old fashioned "hot toddy" cure myself. I'll never forget when my mom did that to me when I was about 10 or 11 and keeping her up all night whining and coughing. Little did she know she cured me of ever developing a taste for whiskey with that one bourbon-laced hot toddy. Honest Injun: I only use it for medicinal purposes.
