Just seen this: Breaking news from CNN

Japan's Meteorogical Agency says an earthquake off Taiwan had a prelimary magnitude of 7.2 and that a 3-foot high tsunami is headed for the east coast of Philippines, The Associated Press reports.

Officials say a magnitude 6.4 aftershock has struck off southwestern Taiwan where a 7.2 magnitude quake was reported earlier, The Associated Press reports.

USGS is now reporting a 7.0 and a 7.1 quake off the southern coast of Taiwan.

Thing took out telecommunications across Asia. I got hit pretty bad in Singapore and will have spotty internet access at best over the coming days to weeks.

Yeah it's wreaking havoc...As reported in another thread, some commercial operations in that area are being disrupted.
