First of all, has anyone seen it yet? I saw it while I was in KY for Christmas. Loved it. Not as much of a tear-jerker as I was expecting (nothing beats Rudy). But it was heart-warming and inspirational.
Second, who here has actually solved Rubik's Cube -- without peeling the stickers off or popping it apart? I think everyone and their brother had one in the 80's. I had the regular-sized one (3x3) and the smaller 3x3 keychain. Never attempted the weird egg-shaped one or the other geometric monstrosities. I think I came close to solving it a couple of times, but never could get the whole thing done.
The gang down in the UTMB blood bank got one for Christmas. So when I go pick up blood for patients, I'll try it while I'm waiting to check out a pint. I think I'll go buy another one (not sure what became of my 80's one) to work on at home.
Kinda wish I had one here on my unit....the day is going s-l-o-w.
