Bingo! Drink lots of water and take two multivitamins. It's about the same effect as a "banana bag" or "rally pack" IV as we used to call it in the ER.
The hangover is a result of the alcohol dehydrating your body, so you need to replenish fluids and vitamins and thiamine. I've only tried it once since I've only been drunk once (wouldn't even really classify it as "drunk" since I got tired so quickly and went right to bed- Fourth of July 2003). Nevertheless, it worked. I woke up the next morning at 7:30 and had already gone grocery shopping and done laundry when my best friend called to check on me. Couldn't believe I was already up and "alive."
