Has anyone taken the AP Biology exam?
I'm starting to realize that the exam will probably be impossible. Any tips?

Standardized tests measure one thing: your ability to take standardized tests. This is true of the AP exams, SAT, ACT, GRE, etcetera....ad infinitum.
Obviously you cannot study all areas of biology. Concentrate on the areas you feel are your weakest in your course of study. If it's mitosis, study that. Photogenesis, same deal. Review test-taking tips. Search online for a good website that explains the layout of the exam and strategies for tackling each section. The AP exam is not going to test you on materials not covered in advanced and AP biology courses, so don't bother with anything else. Above all, don't panic. Get some exam guides and review your weak areas.
Good luck!

I got a 4 on all the AP exams I took, which included AP Biology. The test is not impossible. Get the cliff book and read it. Work on your essay writing with your teacher. Go through old AP exams. Concentrate on the areas you do poorly on. Practice, practice, and review.
I did very little of the above. Some people will have to work harder than others, but the test is very doable for I'd say almost everyone who is able to get into the class. If you don't understand a concept, you have to figure it out, so ask your teacher, search online, and if all else fails post in this thread.
Thats all the advice I've got.

Don't panic. It's in May...there's plenty of time to brush up on the concepts.
Remember the AP site I gave you in another thread? Look at the sample FRQ's so you'll have an idea of the level of difficulty of the questions. Get a prep book, a good one. Ask your teacher which ones are the best. Ask questions if you don't understand something. Do practice problems.
AP classes are to prepare you for the AP exam; if you do the work required and do well in the class, chances are you will do well on the AP exam.
