coppertop leaving for Pine Barrens today

Well, the long-awaited summer excursion is about to take place for coppertop; 26 glorious days in the sunny, fun-filled world of Medford, NJ, surrounded by his Aunt Jan and cousins, not to mention the 24/7 "open house" she holds for the artsy-craftsy friends of the kids...he does SO look forward to this! :D

At least, he won't be HERE....and I wish I weren't, either (but that's another story).

LOL...for me, a "vacation" means The History Channel, FoxNews and AMAX (action-adventure)!

Got a phone call from coppertop; his plane was delayed (read: circling Philadelphia) for an hour due to bad weather...THEN the taxi was one hour late, and counting when he called. :grrr:

Anyway, for those who live in the area, he's THERE! :o

I hope Kevin has a great time - sure sounds like he will! You should have stowed away somehow, great idea someone had here. I imagine the house is quiet now......teens have a way of making their own noise. Will think of you rumbling around out there with Annabelle at your side. She's your faithful companion! And not a ho, but always smile when you add that.

"...not a ho'"? She woke me up early with a piece of last night's steak in her mouth, right there on my bed...it was too big for her, and she wanted me to cut it down to "poogle-size" bites.

Pets are just great - LOL We couldn't live w/o them, now could we? I went for 24 years w/o a pet! Then came Hope.....wouldn't trade her for anything. Even when she's awakened me with lovely needs at 3 a.m. I hear ya Bill. Then they give you that cute little pout and those eyes, they get you every time! Who you calling a 'ho? LOL
