My last one was TOOL, in your neck of the woods Bonnie. They were at the House of Blues. Oh, I forgot about Jefferson Starship at the Grande Casino a few weeks back. They still rock.

I haven't been to any this year but we're going to see Bear in the Big Blue House at the end of August. Does that count?

I really want to go to a concert this summer. MTV has been filming concerts at The Hard Rock Live in Orlando all summer long like Metallica and Evanessence. There's only 2 big ones left, Staind and Korn. Chad thinks it's too dangerous and gives me such a hard time about wanting to go. Help me get him to lighten up please!

Chad there is nothing dangerous about a concert, especially at the Hard Rock Live. There is so much security there that they know what toilet paper you use. lol. Hard Rock Live is much like the House of Blues and trust me there is no skank goes in there. Everybody just has good clean fun and can drink if they choose.

If he decides to let you go mrschad... you will love Staind. They are not a rowdy band and perform well for their audience. As for Korn, I saw them last year and they perform well and the crowd had a great time!!

Stormsfury will be your best bet on convincing him that it is not dangerous. Lots of Luck. ;)

ok ok ok... You can go.. I cant help but worry.. Im not saying anything about her selection of music... I listen to all types of music... I just know those types of concerts have gotten out of controll.. Im just very protective of those That I love.. And there has never been a deeper Love in my life so my protectivness kicks into over gear with her at times

Have fun jenn, but if anything happens let it be on lindaloos head... LOL j/k linda ;-)

Cajunmama - weren't those great concerts?

I saw Billy Joel (My fave)/Elton John earlier this year and then Cher (my best friend's fave) with Cyndi Lauper a short time after that.

Was never a huge fan of Lauper, but I liked the few hits that I remember of hers from the 80's (which were a mere handful). But let me tell ya, there's something to be said about watching her dance around and sing "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" live while several thousand female fans sing along. The ultimate perky, upbeat chick song.
