this brute deserves to be handed the toughest sentence ever, i was mad when i saw it... just no way someone who knocks down and steals from anyone, let alone from an old lady..for no reason! There can be no excuse for this kind of behavior.

That's why this coward chooses elderly women to assault (especially those who can't move around unaided). If one of them ofered resistance, this "he-man" would kill them.

This is making national news. Hopefully this will pressure law enforcement to get this coward!

Luis, I know you mean well, but the term "old woman" really bothers me and alot of people. This "elderly lady" did not deserve what she received from that robber. I sure wish I would have witnessed it because he would have been walking on his elbows.

I hope I look as good as her if I ever get to be her age!

That thug is nothing but a coward. I wouldn't doubt that if he's seen or caught by someone other than the police first they'll kick the crap out of him! :grr:

It's just disgusting. I saw it in the news and I can't believe a person can do that.

Now, see, when they catch this freak, they should just tie him to a chair, give the chick a machete or a flail or something equally medieval, and let her have her way.

I can't believe that after 3 days this guy has not been caught. The video has been shown in every newsmedia outlet not only in the U.S but around the world. But I know that he will be busted soon.I heard that there is a $1,000 reward for information leading to the capture.

What a coward, I hope they lock this bum away for a LONG time.

Only in New York City.  (Hint, Seinfeld)

Never lived in NYC, never been to NYC. But in defense of New Yorkers, I have to say, "What???"

What's wrong with "old woman"? I don't think the terminology is at all derogatory, but that may just be me. ??

What a horrible story though! :grrr: :grrr: :grrr: :grrr: The upside (if you can find one) is that we've all been introduced to two really wonderful women. Weren't they both just something else? Very inspiring when you think about what they went through and lived to tell about it all. Wow!

It was a joke (I should've mentioned that)

If you've seen the Seinfeld episode you'll get it.

I just do not think it is very respectful. You can say what you like though.
