turtle pen as work station

#1 Postby pawlee » Sun Jul 27, 2003 11:32 pm

hey everyone! hope all is well. the image below has been my project for the past two days. fashioned using two 4 foot by 8 foot sheets of wood, the frame from a discarded pine futon, the wooden top from a discarded desk, cardboard and contact paper (liner), i think it is safe to say my turtles are pampered. the goal was to give them more space yet give me more space as far as flat surfaces for framing or working on large projects. they're happy and so am i and the best part, since everything was done using found items, the project didn't cost a penny! p :)

(for whatever it is worth, the past few weeks have been jam packed with all sorts of interesting news on this end. please feel free to click my signature and check out what's up on my weblog.) :)

(pps: wonder if a pets/animals/nature forum would be a worthy idea?)

Nice Job. Just make sure that no body parts get near the (attack) turtle enclosure when you are working at the table.
