There have been NUMEROUS small plane crashes all over the US as of late....we even had one here in Pinetop 2 weeks ago, sadly...the pilot wasn't as lucky as this crash, he was decapitated on impact *sorry*

Pilot Miraculously Escapes Fiery Orlando Plane Crash

POSTED: 12:30 pm EDT July 11, 2007
UPDATED: 2:07 pm EDT July 11, 2007

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A twin-engine Piper Navajo plane crashed about 15 miles short of the Orlando International Airport, late Wednesday morning.

SkyWitness 9 flew over the crash scene, where the plane was on fire and had sparked a brush fire. The plane went down near Lake Mary Jane and was in a remote area near Lockheed Martin test facility.

Fire crews were on the scene working to contain the brush fire.

The pilot walked away, amazingly, with a minor wrist injury.
