Woah, scary looking stuff. The whole plane sparked, probably looked like fireworks if you were a passenger.

Thats incredible! I guess that the electricity passed harmlessly along the aluminum skin of the plane. I wonder if it fried any of the electronics, though.

Wow ...

Like coriolis, I'm curious whether any of the plane's electronics were damaged.

And good thing this happened on takeoff rather than just before landing ... I imagine that would throw the pilot off his game for at least a few seconds.
