Kids?

#1 Postby feederband » Wed Sep 26, 2007 2:35 pm

My youngest kid Calib tranferred to a new elementry school this year and his grades are not so good so the teacher scheduled a parent conference...

When I got there she call Calib "A.J." I just let it go untill she started to show me his work and the grades in her book ...Everything said A.J....I said who the hell is A.J... She said thats not his name .I said no it was Calib.

We both turned around and asked him why he was going by the name A.J. And he said at the begining of the school year you said to write down the name you Want to be called (Like a middle or nick name) He said he thought about it and decided he wanted to go by A.J.

He has never in his life gone by A.J.

Well anyways she told A.J she would see him tomorrow...

Can you believe it.......

Omg that is sooo funny! And even funnier is how he hadn't mentioned it at all to you guys.
I bet you were hoping they had the wrong kid huh? Funny how we always want to be called something different than our birth name, Calib just went ahead and made it so. Has it caught on with his friends?

Yes but why would I look at the right corner at his name...Most of the time he would just show me he completed his home work I don't know if his name was there or not...

Teacher asked "A.J." " So what NAME are you going to go by now?" Calib said "Really?" She said "NO! now sit down CALIB..." The class went........... CALIB?

I've heard that lefties are more creative and artistic than righties. Your son has proven that point. 11 year old ----- sounds like you're gonna have your hands full!!!! I had two girls and have always said that I'd never be able to raise a boy. They seem to be more of a challenge. My grandson is 3 and he's a lefty most of the time and may be a mini AJ in the making. LOL

MY grandson 's name is Kaleb. His mom liked the spelling of this way, said it didn't looked too Biblical since the name Caleb is traditionally a religious name. He thinks he is smarter than his grandfather and me but he isn't. For one reason, he is currently working on his second grade education At seven years old, sometimes his mouth overloads his rear end.
