6 weeks is a long time, glad your all healed up now.
My dad took almost a year to recover from a foot injury he had, it didn't get infected it was just a long process. Again glad to hear your feeling better, time to go out and buy a new pair of shoes to celebrate.

You are a pretty big boy there Dennis to be walking around without shoes!

Foot infections can be nasty, as you discovered.

But now you have your shoes back just in time to enjoy those nice brisk walks outdoors this time of year!!

Glad you are feeling better.

It's about time huh Dennis? Fall is here and time to get shoes on again....can't even imagine suffering like you have for 6 weeks. Only thing it can compare to is when I fractured my ankle and had a walking cast for 8 weeks ("walking cast" that was a joke, it went to my knee!). But by the time they set it, my pain was gone. I just had to walk around with the weight of a bowling ball on my foot for 2 months. So no dashes out the front door for the mail, or no jogs, I had to walk very carefully. But what you went thru sounds terrible. So glad the pain has subsided too.

It's a good thing you can wear shoes again. I hear some of those hotels in New Mexico won't let you in without your shoes and shirt!!!!!! lol (Not that way in my home state of West Virginia!!)

So glad you're better.
