). But thats beyond the point.My gf was informed earlier (around 11 pm EDT, October 8th, 2007) that her uncle has cancer. From what she said her mom relayed, the doc is only giving him a few weeks to live. At the time, information is sparse and her mother did not go into detail, but we both still have a pretty good idea of what type of cancer it is. She's going to be flying out to see him from roughly this Friday to next Wednesday, and would like some prayers for both her safe passage and her uncle. There is not much I can do, other than offer support in any way possible. I have lost an uncle to cancer and know pretty much what she is going through at the moment.
I'll try to keep updates as often as I hear something new, however, no guarentees. It's not like I'm going to be there and know every little thing that goes on and she'll be away from the computer the whole time, so I'll try my best to keep on top of things via phone.

You will be too- have faith! Things have changed so much today. My grandmother had it many. many years ago and survived for many, many years even back then.
I swear these doctors are in it for the money now a days too..
