30 Days of Night: 5 out of 5 starts

I just got back from the 11pm viewing of 30 Days of Night. I really liked it. I would recomend it to anyone who is over 15 ( it is rated R though), not squeamish, can handle watching a beheading, not afraid of the dark, and arent scared of vampires. This movies is one of the best movies I have seen in the recent past. Horror is my genre. I liked that there was a strong story line to this movie, and a definitive cliff-hanger at the end. There likely will not be a sequel to this one as they do make for a definitive end. I was jumping constantly and almost screamed once. It was funny about a half hour into the movie everyone in the theater , about 30, moved to the center/back. There is constant horror and an strong, unexpected climax. The one weak spot of this movie was that you could see what would happen at the end, almost.
