Classic Cartoon Series gets Modern Day Revival

#1 Postby TexasStooge » Thu Jan 10, 2008 9:21 am

"George Of The Jungle", which is celebrating its 40th Anniversary is getting a revival from Cartoon Network. The caroon series was played only on Saturday Mornings and lasted 17 episodes from 1967 to 1968 on ABC, but that didn't stop Disney from making a 1997 live-action film version of the show.

Classic Media in association with Studio B Productions and Teletoon Canada has released a 2007 flash version of "George Of The Jungle", which is officially slated for premiere on Cartoon Network this Friday. So, if you and your family have cable/satellite and Cartoon Network is listerd in your area, tune in and WATCH OUT FOR THAT--(CRASH)--Tree.
