A little while ago, the forecast on this page showed lows in the 30's and highs in the 50's or upper 40's, a good chance of rain Tuesday and Wednesday, and nothing noteworthy about the wind. Suddenly, the forecast changed drastically. Lumberton is a few miles north of Beaumont.

Look at the winds below the image. I better put my shutters up. I've got hurricane force winds on the way. :lol:

Special Weather Statement

Overnight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 51. Windy, with a northeast wind around 50 mph, with gusts as high as 60 mph.

Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 55. Windy, with a east wind 50 to 55 mph increasing to between 65 and 70 mph. Winds could gust as high as 80 mph.

Tuesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 55. Windy, with a east wind between 50 and 60 mph, with gusts as high as 70 mph.

Kelly,it has happened in other NWS offices too,such as the Ponce,Puerto Rico one.What about 190 degrees :eek:
