New name, same old me

Yes...it's the NEW me :ggreen:

I changed my screen name after what, 8 years? Midnight Rider was my OLD, OLLLLD CB radio handle some 32-35 years ago :roll: :lol: I came up with this name from the song "Midnight Rider" by the Marshall Tucker Band! I heard the song day before on one of the SIRIUS old time rock stations and thought "Man, I haven't heard that in EONS...what a great screen name!"

SO...the Midnight Rider (aka azsnowman) RIDES again :ggreen:

You know, I saw posts from a Midnight Rider and he was from Pinetop. I did wonder if that was you Dennis but had to log off.....so the mystery is solved!

So why do I have an image of Clint Eastwood in my mind now, from one of his many western movies? LOL

I used to love my CB in the 70's. I had a 40' tower with beams and a ground plane. My golden eagle sounded great and most of the time I was wearing socks!!! LOL

Hey Karan! Yeah, I LOVED my CB too! I only had a mobile unit HOWEVER, I bought one of those "kickers" that increased the range by some 200 MILES!!

WELL...as you see, I went back to the OLD ME! Yeah, Midnight Rider sounded good but it didn't feel right :ggreen:

Hey maybe I should give "Hail Mary" a whirl, 2SeamFastball would like that......LOL Naw, TLC/Tracy would have a cow (literally!), since she dubbed me Miss Mary almost 9 years ago.....

As Miss Mary said, whatever feels right for you. I was getting used to Midnight Rider and I think it's a pretty cool user id, but I've known you for so long as the big ol' snowman! :D
