Invest 92L,West Atlantic
Moderator: S2k Moderators
My local met at BayNews9 says this is something to keep an eye on for a possible fl threat and showed the spaghetti models for 92L. Personally I think it will indeed develop it looks like it's got all the ingredients there and in two days time bam a td sounds more than reasonable. I think you can kinda tell the ones that will and the ones that won't. This one has felix written all over it. That's my unofficial, amateurish opposite of steve lyons forecast.

Like so...
GAH! I saved it as JPEG. I meant to save it as a PNG to keep the quality.
Bump to next page for RL3AO.

This system looks pretty disorganized. It has alot of work to do. See what it looks like in the morning. Any chances that it could make it into the Carolinas? We are looking to be in one of the worst droughts ever recorded if we don't get rain soon.

92L looks like a disorganized mess right now. I know things can change fast but I really don't see development for the next 48 hours.

It does look rather disorganized..I'm wondering what will happen with the diurnal maximum that will take place in about 8 hours....

I see a lot of potential trouble out there.

I just did a quick count out of curiosity - one nameless user has already posted 49 times in this one thread alone since 8AM. That's just overboard IMO. I know we all a like to contribute but let's think a bit before we post...we have a LONG season ahead of us.

[quote="HeeBGBz"]Okay I was looking at the 18 four panel NAM charts to see if it showed 92L. On the hour 66 model there seems to be a low forming on 92L. What really caught my eye was the Yucatan and the low there that isn't Dean. Is that something of interest?

92L still appears a distance from Florida at hour 84.
I am not very good at reading these things so someone correct me if I'm not seeing something.

If anyone answered this question I missed it and I'd like to know the answer as much as the original poster.

that south east blob definately looks interesting to me. But I have a question mabey someone could help clear up for me. I have heard d-min and d- max a lot. I know what they stand for but not sure what the difference is in terms of times of day/ do both cause flare ups for the storms?

Re: Invest 92L,West Atlantic-Discussions-Analysis and Imagery
i would really like any promet's take's on this.
i live in florida like many many on this board and was wondering if this systems development would likely be as slow as erin's or do we really have a decent chance of this thing developing into a possible cane.
cheers

derek felt that this had a chance to develop as he thought it wouldn't make any type of impact for at least 6 days
