Luis,

That's short for Rapid-Scan Operations. GOES-E will be spirring out pics for the CONUS sector on everage every 7-8 minutes for the several hours. You should see more frequent pics of 91L through 226 AM.

If this run is right, the mid level shear isn't abating anytime soon. (at least prevalent for another 42 hr)

I'm buying at this point.

Look at the Historical Tracks and a recurve makes more sense than originally thought.

Someone's comment that there is a backlash against a recurve is right on the money.

Now, I would not go out and predict it this far out, but given history; it is not an unlikely scenario.
