I'll be on a plane home for the eclipse...
Maybe I could see it from the window?

I noticed it getting a little darker, but not much. Almost like a cloudy day. Went outside to see it had clouded over indeed. Probably 40-50% cloud cover. May not see much at all later.

It's cloudy where I'm at....Sun is trying to crack through the clouds though.

It's still sunny here (well, some clouds around), but it's definitely not looking as bright. Peak about 2:38.

Saw it at a 1/4. It got noticeably cooler...for Houston that was nice

Yeah, ours was 1:29. We were only around 80%. People had glasses, and I borrowed a pair and glanced up and saw the crescent sun. It didn't really get dark, but it was less radiant and felt like we were in a different latitude or something.

Same here, around 80%. The shadows was what really peaked my interest. Everything was so much more crisp and vivid.

I was lucky enough to view the eclipse at the airport. 71% blockage, max blockage at 2:45pm. I didn't have any glasses so I had to use my camera to see the eclipse, but it was still a cool experience. I did notice that it was darker outside, even though there was minimal cloud cover.

Incredible. No clouds and wow, seconds before total it's like someone turns out the lights. Dark so fast, then the corona. Simply an incredible experience.

Amazing on how some low cumulus clouds evaporated during and after the eclipse as the earth's surface cooled down a little bit.
