Wow. That is a bold statement- that the media is controlling when the NHC does their job. Did I read that correctly? I find it hard to believe the NHC is sitting on this like it's money (stole that phrase from Watkins) just because the TV networks told them to. Would love to see that email or minutes from the meeting where that ruling came down.

It is only hype if PEOPLE allow it to be. Seriously.

I say it is a tropical storm. It has "t" numbers and quickscat saying it is a tropical storm. It looks like one. But no surface obs, buoys showing it. To far away from them. I'm sure it does.

Question for you hurakan...if this is classified a TS at 11....is that when they would put out the cone??
