HURAKAN,maybe that went towards the north coast is to see if there is a low up there.

Noted surface winds much lighter than flight level winds. Not surprising if low level center is being badly disrupted from terrain.

Plane going the windward passage to the south coast after getting pretty strong winds in the north coast.

Does anyone know if recon has been given the ok to fly in and around Cuban airspace...Without recon this could be a dicey call coming up in and over Cuba towards SF. We need the Christopher Walken picture... "NEED MORE RECON BABY!"
