Agreed. Southern wall is not dropping any further southward. Slow westward drift MAYBE, but not much.

i would say last 90 minutes it was moving appox 290 degrees or WNW, could turn more 275 in a couple hours, and then the wobble watching will begin, actually it already has

If Fay goes due west from here, her eye will eventually be two-thirds or more over water in the northeastern Gulf.

Yeah I don't see any southof west movement, looks close to WNW IMO, lets see what recon fixes show however.

On the Gov Christ press conference which just ended, they mentioned one of the bridges between Merritt Island and Cocoa Beach being closed to, I think, inspect its integrity. I'm not seeing anything more on my local news regarding this.

I can't find further info on it; can anyone confirm if it is the last 528 bridge or if its the one from 520 going past Cape Canaveral hospital please?

Convection may be waning slightly, but at least she now has that yellow ring of convection full 360 around her eye.

heavy shower and gusty winds in s. palm beach county , looks like we may see wide spread 1-2 inch totals by late evening.

AT 200 PM EDT...1800Z...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM FAY WAS
LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 29.4 NORTH...LONGITUDE 81.0 WEST...OR VERY
NEAR FLAGLER BEACH FLORIDA.

Definitely don't see her going that far north this early in the game. Too much HP aloft

Is this a center fix? If so, it looks the same as 11am (minus .2 of westward movement, anyway). Still essentially due east of my house....

I haven't been following the whole time, so excuse me if this question has been asked. With the projected path won't Fay wind up affecting every single county in Fl? Has that ever happened before?
