Haïti doesn't have finished with floodings this year I think.

Look at that!
http://www.meteo.fr/temps/domtom/antill ... Tagant.jpg
Popping and popping convection expanding everywhere ,what a mess... under the islands chain HUC! Unstelled conditions for at least Monday if this trend continues! And a little boy approaching more conducives conditions...behind 93 L is showing already his teeth too, waouw! Ah September is always a strong one!
Moreover not good news the winds are seriously abating under the islands, look!

I saw all the models were pointing at Haiti earlier today. That's not good.

The convection is starting to burst closer to 16N 66W where the models were initializing a LLC.
That probably means the shear is easing and it is time to start watching.

Wow there is a lot of convection on the east side of this storm and could soon wrap around the LLC when shear lessens.Hmmm.....okay so this will move NW over PR or Hispanola or between then after it will move towards the Bahamas based on the computer models I see. Then the path is uncertain from there because its a five day path which always changes. It is not even a depression yet so the computer models could change once this storm intensifies to a depression or TS.So the whole East coast of the US is not out of the woods yet. This could go any where from Miami,Fl to Cape Hatteras,NC.We just got to see how much its going to weaken over the high mountains of PR and Hispanola.

If convection increases during the DMAX near or over the LLC, we could have RECON action tomorrow.

This could be a code red tomorrow right before it hits the islands.

I'm thinking it could become a code red tonight if it organizes a bit more...

Talking about East-US threats is a bit premature for me. We all saw with Ike how TC are unpredictable. Once a TD has formed, computer models can go anywhere, including Houston.

I'm looking at all these satellite pictures and it looks like it should be pouring here in St. Maarten.
We have had showers off and on all day but it hasn't been raining for a few hours now.
I hope it stays that way.
Be careful Luis..PR will get it worse I am sure.

Winds are continuing on decreasing trend....in vicinity of 93L and futher east the future CV's wave could have a nice opportunity if trend persits.
