this low has been vigorious for days now...the envelop of low pressue is finally moving offshore...we have a player ladies and gentlemen...tomorrow morning visibles should be interesting, if they show what i think they might, TS watchs maybe hoisted for the Cape Verd islands...


extremely hard to not be a fish though...something to track maybe...

IMO,NHC will skip the orange tag and go to red at the 2 AM TWO.

Wow, that looks really nice. Unfortunately I don't think it's going to look so nice once it heads further away from the coast into dry air and SAL. We'll see though.

i imagine so ..


according to the TCFA checklist. A tcfa is not requireed yet but very close .. (according to my assesment ) i was 33points you need 35 to 38 points

yeah i have that .,. but to far away and the night time/fog is more usefull it allows you to extrap the center by the curved bands in the low levels

Whats going on that no model guidance has yet been released? A reminder that when the first model plots are released,a models thread will be made to not post model runs in this main thread.That goes of course also to the posting of the global models.

Good start out of the gate like Bertha. Better convection over the center unlike the last wave that dissipated. Weird close to Africa year.
