What in the world are you talking about lol.

good question lol

i think the storm will be going further east by at least 150 miles (more than the nhc) forecasts and that many times in the past, the nhc tends to take the conservative track (that keep's the public's attention) in case something unexpected happens, given that not too many will complain when the storm rides "a bit further out to sea" get it?

I think you're thinking of the wrong agency.

I don't see how the synoptic set up would allow that.

Now it is foretasted to be a 70 kt storm at landfall.. 12 more hours of shear only. I'm hoping that 70 KT is not conservative like usual... :(

First of all I said fish storm and I meant that it won't touch the US but I didnt say that cananda wont get hit because look at my earlier comment and it said that it will go up towards Canada so I didnt mean it literally for everyone.Second of all I never said I wanted any storm to hit me like I want it to happen.I just said that okay Kyle was a false alram for Florida and thought it was going to come towards us.Dude chill out your going to make it through this storm its just going to be a cat 1 the maximum or lower intensity.I have been hit by a cat 3...3 years ago and Im still alive. So dont freak OUT!HEhe my name is HurricaneFREAK!Cause hurricanes amaze me and its my hobby so U KNOW WHAT I LOVE IT WHEN HURRICANES COME CAUSE IT AMAZES ME THE POWER IT HAS AND I want to become a storm chaser when I grow up.So if you HAVE A PROBLEM WITH ME "LIKING HURRICANES TO HIT ME" LIKE U SAID !THEN DEAL WITH IT!MOVE SOMEWHERE ELSE IF YOU DONT WANA GET HIT BY HURRICANES!

A few comments for you, Hurricane Freak:
- Just Joshing need not "chill out" He faces a hurricane and should be concerned.
- A fish storm by definition does not hit land. Canada is land and for you to portray Kyle as fish storm is simply wrong
- Kyle was NEVER a threat to South Florida. You are completely incorrect in making that statement
- If you live now where you lived 3 years ago you did not get hit by a Cat 3. Wilma was a cat 1 maybe a cat 2 when she hit US in South Florida
- Take a look at areas that have been through Cat 1's. Power outages, damage, blue tarps ..... Look at South Florida from Wilma, Frances, Jeanne, Katrina all of which affected some areas as a Cat 1.
- You obviously don't own a home or a business and live the effect of a Hurricane. When I was a kid I thought that they were cool too. When I grew up to be a responsible adult the thrill was gone.
- Not everyone has the luxury of just "moving somewhere else" to avoid storms. They are born somewhere or there for employment and may not financially be able to just move on a whim.

I think you should be more sensitive to the seriousness of Hurricanes and other's feelings.

Good.

I wish you luck with the storm and hope that he takes a track further to the east and somehow misses land and ends up not causing anymore damage then he has already caused though the horrible flooding as an Invest.

If not, make sure that you take all the necessary precautions to ride it out!

First of all you are wrong it is not going to be a hurricane based on Storm2k and NHC.Forecast to become a tropical storm when it hits and on top of the models can still change slightly to the east a little which may be a FISH storm.Actaully in the very first models of invest 93 which is now Kyle actaully had them pointing south of Cuba then turning north towards the southwest coast of FL which means it WAS A threat for south Florida.Wrong again about Wilma it was actually worse hear than on the west coast mentioned by many experts. They said damage at least in Boca Raton which was one of the ahrdest hit areas had cat 3 damage.Dont prove me worng because you havent been to where I live and you live 3 cities up which is a little difference. And we has winds up to 105 which was cat 2 BUT WE HAD GUST HERE up to 115 which is cat 3.And everyone is different you cant say I dont have the thrill for hurricanes anymore when I become and "ADULT".Its my hobby and will fulfill my career in meteorology and storm chasing. And when you say they cant move financially do you actually know that "Just Joshing you" cant move because of that. And yes I am caring for others but I know this storm is not going to be that serious for Canada and the rest because its just going to be a TS and it will be over colder waters once it moves north so it will weaken.

Need I remind you of "just" Tropcial Storm Allison in 2001?

No TC is "just" meaning it won't cause problems or massive damage. Some TD's have caused massive amounts of damage and death and even open waves(Kyles beginnings in PR and DR).

Now try being more sensitive and RESPECTFUL towards others and there concerns and opinons. That is how one garners respect from others.

Indeed. In 2004 a Tropical Depression named by PAGASA (never was warned on by the JTWC or JMA) actually killed nearly 1,500 people in the Philippines.

Chacor Allison was different than any other TS because first of all it hit a prone vulnerable area for flooding and it stalled over texas for a long time and NHC or other stations do not expect this to "STALL" over Cananda or Nova Scotia.when they go north they get weaker and move faster so flooding isnt really the main issue but could be costal concerns with winds.but no severe wind damage should be expected.

The nhc is forecasting 70 knots as it is moving at landfall...That will likely cause some damage as the wind gust will likely be around 80-85 knots. I like storms to, but I hope people are ok, because death is the last thing I would went on myself in a storm, unless of course, I lossed my mind. I can understand why people like to chase storms, it is all fine and good to do so, but hope for little death from it. Yes, it will likely start lossing some of its "tropical" features as it is becoming extratropical, but that don't mean it won't be powerful.

Just watch the cyclone, and see if it does something different then what others have done in the past.

Wow, that was quite a silly statement.

Allison? Fay? Claudette (1979)?

Actually, when tropical storms go northwards past 30-40, it usually under goes extratropical transition, which enables storms to maintain and usually strengthen.

Hurricane Juan, 2003, Weakened 5kt before landfall only due to its speed.

Vince, 2005, formed and strengthened over cooler waters

Epsilon, 2005, formed, lasted, strengthened over waters that were sub 20 degrees CELSIUS.

That is true...Also, making for higher gust, then what would be expected for a tropical like system to the "one minute winds".

Extratropical storms also usually have a broader wind field, with stronger winds far displaced from the actual center.
